What’s in a Title?

Sometimes book titles can be incredibly obscure and give nothing away about its content. Like Shadow in the Wind or A Bend in the River. They hint at something mysterious and literary without actually making much sense at all.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, there are some book titles that get straight to the point: Is Gwyneth Paltrow Wrong about Everything?

Immediately I think of celebrity culture and the sometimes foot-in-mouth messages celebrities spread across social media. Turns out I wasn’t wrong.

Paltrow

I wonder what would happen if we all gave up on the mystical literary titles? Man Goes to War and Returns Changed? I think the font on book spines would have to be a lot smaller.
