Literary web magazine and blog Bookslut have decided to step in and right the wrongs of book awards past, creating the Daphnes or ‘The Corrections‘, choosing the best book of 50 years ago.

It’s a great idea isn’t it? Once the dust has settled you can truly see which books are inherently great and have stood the test of time.
