Prepare for Halloween

According to Tesco, it’s already Christmas. I was in there yesterday and noticed they’ve already started putting out advent calendars. Is there really a demand for Christmas stuff two months in advance?? I thought it was customary to atleast wait until after Halloween. One festivity (pagan or otherwise) at a time please!

So please, readers, forget the Christmas tree for the moment and let me remind you that this is the month to bring out the pumpkins and the witch hats, to watch your favourite horror movies or to buy tickets to Wicked.

If you want some more ideas, click here for a list of Halloween-themed events going on in and around London.  If you like pub crawls – check out The Zombie Walk.

Oh, and if that’s your thing, you’ll be delighted to know we’ve got the ultimate zombie book, Dictionary of the Dead: The A-Z Guide on How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse, by Dr Dale coming out next summer.  Uh oh, look at that, I’ve just gone and done a Tesco – flagging things up way too early…
