Description

London is a city shrouded in autumnal fog and rumbling with discontent. When a celebrated clairvoyant claims that a murdered man has begged Sherlock Holmes to find his killer, the great detective dismisses the message as nonsense. Likewise, Mrs Hudson has quite enough to contend with without messages from the spirit world. Housemaid Flotsam, however, suspects there is more to the story than a few ghostly whispers.

Bonfire Night is drawing near and unrest in the city is mounting. A web of political intrigue, old secrets and sinister threats begins to tighten, but can Flotsam unravel the truth before the sparks fly?

Steeped in the spirit of Conan Doyle, the latest Holmes & Hudson mystery picks up where Dr Watson’s chronicles left off.
