Job Opportunities

At present there are no vacancies at A&B. As a small company, positions do not arise very frequently. We do, however, operate a work placement scheme for those who are interested in finding out more about publishing. No previous experience is necessary but you must have an enthusiasm for books and a willingness to learn.

Placements last for four weeks on a full time basis. During this time you will get the chance to work across a variety of tasks and hopefully gain an overall understanding of trade publishing. The first week is effectively a trial period at the end of which the placement may be ended if either A&B or the work experience candidate is unhappy. If the full four weeks is undertaken, the first two are unpaid, but A&B is able to contribute towards travel expenses for the final two weeks by paying £10 a day.
