Halley Sutton is the author of The Lady Upstairs and The Hurricane Blonde. A writer and editor, she lives in Los Angeles, where she spends her time chasing down noir and Hollywood trivia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from the University of California Santa Cruz, and a master’s degree in writing from Otis College of Art and Design. Her writing has appeared in Ms., Daily Beast, CrimeReads, Los Angeles Review of Books, and more.
