David Weir comes from Edinburgh and was a newspaper reporter, feature writer and film critic in Scotland and England for a decade before getting a job for ‘a couple of years’ at the House of Commons. Fast forward a few decades and he has worked in all its procedural offices and managed Select Committees including Treasury, Home Affairs and Standards. Back from the Dead is his first novel.
