Aline Templeton at Carlisle Crime Festival

Come and listen to Aline Templeton, author of the DI Marjory Fleming series, discuss ‘Female Detectives’ as part of a panel at Carlisle Crime Festival. With the obvious exception of Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple, the woman’s place in crime fiction was too often depicted solely as the victim. Thankfully over the past few decades that pattern has altered dramatically with as many female crime fighters appearing as their male counterparts. The discussion will take place at the Old Fire Station at 1pm on Saturday 13th June.
