Peter Lovesey

PETER LOVESEY began his writing career in 1970 with Wobble to Death, the first of his acclaimed mystery series featuring Victorian detective Sergeant Cribb. His work has been translated into 22 languages and he was awarded the Veuve Clicquot Prize for the best short story of the year. The recipient of a CWA Gold Dagger and 3 Silver Daggers, Lovesey was presented with the prestigious Cartier Diamond Dagger in 2000 in recognition of his career in mystery writing
