Worth a $1 million?

Thursday, September 9th, 2010

Somethings are worth paying insurance for. Like the direct debit covering my trusty iPhone (let’s try not to drop it again, Lesley, OK?) or, things like travel and health insurance. Take the honeymooner who hit the news recently, who  broke her back falling over a balcony in Corfu and needed to be flown back to th UK for treatment. At the other end of the scale…I came across a picture of this man today: Troy Polamalu - who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

And no, that isn’t a comedy wig. He’s insured his plentiful barnet for a cool $1 million (note he does front a shampoo ad). Just incase it’s hair today, gone tomorrow perhaps…
