Working with funky fonts

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

Ah – the simple things in life that make me happy (doesn’t take much). For instance, while working on our next catalogue I got to play with two beautiful fonts discovered by cover-designer-in-chief Christina which feature on next month’s One Foot Wrong. One, a slightly bonkers mix of hand-sketched characters that makes me think of circuses (is that just me?) and another that substitutes every letter for a rambling weed/flower/blade of grass, until you have a veritable bouquet of blooms. Love it!

The main text font is called ‘Monbijoux’, hopefully Christina can dig out the name of the weed/floral font/dingbat.

christina Says:

The weed typeface is called Aierbazzi, designed by Roberto Cecchi
