Wednesday Cover Story: Sneak peak of the next crime sensation…

Wednesday, August 17th, 2011

If you thought Scandinavia might not be able to produce any more brilliant crime writers, well think again. There’s a new rising star on the horizon by the name of Kjell Eriksson. His first book in the acclaimed Ann Lindell series, The Princess of Burundi, won the Swedish Crime Academy Award for Best Crime Novel and he’s already becoming an international sensation. We’re proud to welcome him to our A&B list and we’ll be hitting you with a double whammy this October – bringing out two of his books simultaneously – The Princess of Burundi and The Hand that Trembles.

And to whet your appetite even more, here’s a sneak peak of the cover design which I’ve just seen today!

Jag älskar dem!
(That’s ‘I love them!’ in Swedish. Not that I’m trying to impress the author or anything…)

Going Too Far, by Catherine Alliott. Susie: I rarely read 'girly' books but came across Alliott a few years ago. I've read 3 of her books thus far, and was delighted to spot this one for 30p in a charity shop. I've not opened it as yet but am hoping for another witty, grown-up, middle-class romcom, with lots of 4x4s and country houses!
