Shelfie – books on the go

Thursday, March 31st, 2016

Generally, when I’m reading for pleasure, I read a printed book. While my tablet is incredibly useful for work and for reading submissions, it does seem more restful to curl up with a bundle of crafted paper, ink and glue.

However, there are going to be times when I just can’t squeeze a(nother) book into my bag, which is why an app called Shelfie caught my eye. You take a picture of your bookshelf and the app searches the web for free or discounted ebook and audio book editions ready to download. Handy, no? I’m off to give it a whirl…

Ailsa: Gorgeous storytelling that combines elements of traditional fairy-tales to create something new, with a twist. I'll definitely reread this in future.
