Need a (dance) kick this Monday morning?

Monday, November 16th, 2009

Here is something that’s bound to bring a little ounce of joy on a Monday morning, when we could all use an extra boost. I came across this video over the weekend, which took me down memory lane. I’ve been a Fred Astaire fan since I was little. I used to record his films on our betamax and spend hours, days and weeks copying the dance moves until I could reenact the scenes in front of my parents and pretend I was on Broadway. This is one of my favourites. Enjoy.

Susie Dunlop Says:

I am also a massive Fred Astaire fan! I absolutely adore him and his films. My favourite film was Carefree, and particularly Fred’s golf sequence. But I also loved Eric Blore who starred in many of the Astaire/Rogers films as the very dry and witty butler/hotel manager
