Knowledge is Beautiful

On a day-to-day basis we are bombarded with information, facts and figures and it can be hard for our minds to digest it all. So author, designer and data journalist David McCandless has set out to make it all a little easier for us. His book, Knowledge is Beautiful, uses colourful infographics to ‘ visualise captivating and intriguing patterns and connections across art, science, health and pop’.

One of my favourite infographics is the Etiquettrix – a guide to social dos and don’ts when visiting a foreign country:

What a brilliant and fun way to make information interesting and easy to understand.

And now I know never to eat with my left hand in India!
