Best Birthday E-cards

Never one to shy away from any kind of excuse for festivity, I am happy to broadcast that today is my birthday.
On this note, I confess that I am terrible at remembering other people’s birthdays. And when I do remember it’s usually on the actual day and too late to be able to send a proper card. Hence my love of e-cards. But considering many free e-cards on the internet are pretty rubbish, I was thrilled to discover Yoyo and Hoops - with their original and often hilarious selection.

The Slap , by Christos Tsolkias Lara: An excellent reading group choice as there’s much to discuss. Clever, yes. Would I recommend it? Not so sure. Very interesting subverting of characters but it’s taken me till around the middle of the book to start really getting in to it.
