Two years have passed for Livia and her sisters and finally all seems well for them. Livia is set to marry Jack and her sisters are, for the moment, settled on Todd Farm. Livia also wants to bring back to life the neglected family business: is she prepared to jeopardise her future life with Jack to achieve her wish?
Overseeing the restoration of the business is Matthew Grayson, whose presence is at first a nuisance but manages to become yet more unsettling the longer Livia spends with him.
With the extra pressures of her sisters’ problems, is it possible for Livia to regain control of her life and figure out exactly what it is she wants?
'Rarely, have I come across such a masterly historical romance with a brilliantly set up plot. It has a touch of Catherine Cookson, but on the other side of England. An excellent, hard-to-put-down read with some deeply drawn characters, some lovable, some not, but all moving together. The story is thick with historical accounts of suffragette meetings in 1910. The end, like a game of chess, is unpredictable but satisfying.'Historical Novels Review (Editor's Choice)
I have read the two Angel books saga and found them an excellent read.Rosie Willbourn
