HAZEL HOLT was born in Birmingham and educated at Cambridge University. She worked as an editor, reviewer and features writer before turning to fiction. She currently lives on the edge of Exmoor, near Minehead with her husband. Her life is divided between writing, cooking and trying to keep up with her Siamese cat.
